I have ALWAYS wanted a hot tub. Finally I get my wish when as a Star Rewards Member I could redeem a Home Depot Gift Cards and be entered into a virtual drawing for a LA Spa San Juan Hot Tub! When I won - the casino was able to notify me via my email.

    Star Rewards Members who redeemed Home Depot Gift Cards of any denomination and new members were entered into a virtual drawing for a LA Spa San Juan Hot Tub, provided by Beachcomber of Albuquerque. To continue to follow through on our “YOUR Casino” promise, Guests were given 24 hours to make themselves known to the Players Club to claim their prize. Winners were notified via Email campaign who won.


    Casino Revenue results:
    35,000 email pieces out promoting the event with over 25,000 unique guests participating in the promotion resulted in an incremental win increase of 15%.

    Explain distinct competitive advantage:
    We were the first New Mexico Casino to cross promote our Gaming Experience with a Local Business, which gave us the ability to reach potential gamers in a new demographic to whom we have not normally advertised. This E-mail also directly resulted in two hot tubs being sold at the store location.

    Other measurable Results:
    By creating an in-kind partnership with LA Spas & Beachcomber of Albuquerque, SASC was able to acquire approximately $18,000 worth of promotional merchandise at no cost to the Casino other than normal advertising costs which would have been incurred anyway.

    Enhance Casino relationship:
    In order to involve our employees in this promotion we also had an employee drawing, and one lucky Santa Ana Star Casino Employee, who is also a Santa Ana Pueblo member was able to walk away a winner. The excitement of the employee drawing created a personal connection to the promotion for our employees, which in turn enabled them to sell the promotion to our Guests.
